Our CEO and founder, Francisco Moreno Balboa, joined Hoy por Hoy Madrid (Cadena SER) to share how Logixs was born, what the dynamic care plans AI generates in Hospitalia are, and how we've taken our technology to more than 600 universities in the United States. Listen to the interview here.

Madrid. Artificial intelligence is no longer a promise for the future: it's transforming how companies operate, decide and compete. That's what we went to talk about on Hoy por Hoy Madrid, the innovation slot of Cadena SER's magazine show with Marta González Novo, where the programme introduced us as "one of Spain's leading companies specialising in generative AI in key sectors such as energy, mobility and healthcare".
In the interview, Francisco went back to our origins. We came from building products, and one of them led us to enter several awards — national ones, and others in Silicon Valley. "We won them all," he said on air. That product wasn't monetisable, but something better happened — the companies that saw it kept telling us "we don't want that product, but we'd like you to build a project we have in mind". And so Logixs was born in 2017, as a tech boutique building tailor-made projects for other companies.
That's still our essence today. We don't sell a closed product that companies have to adapt to their reality. We listen to the business, understand its processes and build the AI solution that specific business needs.
The example we shared on the show was Hospitalia, our healthcare project for dependent people living at home. We trained an AI model with the knowledge of top specialists, and the system generates dynamic care plans that update every week based on all the available information — from patients' wristband data to what the nurses visiting each home record.
The results, as Francisco explained, are remarkable. We have data on how people progressed before and after AI, and the improvement in speed and adaptability "has been a before and after" for this sector.
Can AI replace us at work? Francisco's answer on air was clear. AI is a multiplier. Producing a care plan as detailed as Hospitalia's would require the best specialists devoting 200 hours to each person — simply unfeasible. What generative AI does is put many more hours on the table, forget nothing and access information much faster. The judgement remains human; the machine provides the scale.
In the interview we also shared one of our recent milestones: the strategic alliance with the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU), the organisation representing more than 600 universities in the United States. Francisco recalled the moment the contract arrived signed by the association's president — "I almost cried".
We're already working with American universities on faculty scheduling, admissions processes and virtual tutors, with an office open in Texas. And with an unusual approach: while most companies go to the US to sell, we also bring talent and knowledge back to Spain and Europe — like the UCLA student, top of his class, who chose to build his career at Logixs from Madrid.
The goal we shared on air is to grow to 140 people next year and 300 the year after, and to consolidate our position as a benchmark in Europe. Without losing the first thing we said on the radio: having fun along the way and generating real impact, especially in sectors like healthcare.
You can listen to the full programme on iVoox or on the Hoy por Hoy Madrid website (in Spanish), and the interview clip is embedded above. And if listening to it makes you wonder "how would this apply to my business?" — get in touch: that's exactly our favourite conversation.
On this page (embedded audio) or on iVoox. It aired on Hoy por Hoy Madrid on November 18, 2025 (in Spanish).
