This platform is an initiative led by the Government of Spain, and is a key component of the Spain Entrepreneurial Nation strategy. This ambitious project focused on developing a comprehensive digital solution intended to serve as the core of the country's entrepreneurial ecosystem, promoting innovation, collaboration and knowledge sharing between various ecosystem agents.

Challenges

  • Design a platform that meets the specific needs of a wide range of users, from entrepreneurs to investors and consultants, requiring a flexible and complex system of profiles and access.
  • Create a technological infrastructure capable of supporting the exponential growth in the number of users and the expansion of functionalities without compromising performance.
  • Establish a digital environment that ensures the maximum security of personal and business information amid growing concerns about cyber threats.

Cutting-edge technology

The choice of Drupal over the Symfony framework for the backend, along with the use of modern frontend technologies, allowed for efficient management of dynamic content and ensured the necessary flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The application of a hybrid methodology that combined Waterfall for the initial structure and Scrum for agility in later phases was vital to handle challenges and adapt to the evolving requirements of the project.

The implementation of advanced security measures, such as CloudWaf and two-factor authentication, along with the choice of AWS cloud services, ensured the protection of user data and optimal platform performance.
