The Community of Madrid needed to create a unified digital platform to give visibility to the innovation projects that are part of the RETECH initiative —a national network aimed at promoting technological transformation from the regions.
The challenge was to design an agile, scalable and visually coherent portal that would allow administration teams to publish projects, events and calls without depending on technical support, while also maintaining institutional identity and public accessibility standards.
Challenges
Centralize information from all RETECH projects under a single digital environment.
Enable dynamic content editing and publishing by non-technical teams.
Meet institutional design, accessibility and performance requirements.
Ensure platform scalability to incorporate new regional work lines.
Key Success Factors
01
Modular custom CMS
We developed a modular web platform based on our own CMS template, adapted to the Community of Madrid's technological ecosystem. The new system allows creating and managing complete sections from an intuitive interface, with full control over content and design.
02
Scalable headless architecture
We implemented a headless architecture that separates the content layer from the frontend, ensuring speed, security and flexibility for future integrations with other public systems.
03
Institutional design and accessibility
The platform maintains the institutional identity of the Community of Madrid and complies with AA accessibility standards, ensuring that all citizens can access information effectively.
04
Autonomous content management
Administration teams can publish projects, events and calls without depending on technical support, significantly reducing content management and publication times.

Methodology
Agile and modular development
We applied agile methodologies to deliver the platform in less than 8 weeks, with a modular approach that allows future expansions and updates without affecting current functionality.
User-centered design
We designed intuitive interfaces for both administrators and end users, prioritizing ease of use and navigation experience consistent with institutional standards.
Integration with public ecosystem
We prepared the technical foundation for future integrations with other public administration systems, ensuring long-term compatibility and scalability.
Quality and accessibility standards
We implemented rigorous quality controls and accessibility testing to ensure compliance with public regulations and the best experience for all users.

Results
"The RETECH Madrid platform was developed and put into operation in less than 8 weeks, completely transforming the initiative's content management. Administration teams experienced a 60% reduction in content management times, while the platform meets 100% of AA accessibility standards.
The technical foundation is fully prepared for the incorporation of new RETECH programs and other regional initiatives, providing the Community of Madrid with a scalable and efficient tool for their digital transformation projects."
